Back to the P.S.S.U...
Time to finish the look of the PSU, and get it working. I'll start by mounting the power socket. Instead of making my own power system here, I just hacked off the one used in the Antec PSU I took the guts out of. Dremel time!
Then it was time to cut a rectangular hole for the socket in both the acrylic stand, as well as the outer laser-cut steel panel.
With that done I began making the back of the PSU a bit more interesting. I made four 20mm long spacers to fit on the back. Then, I made a "frame" for the PSU using a shedload of small black acrylic pieces. If you bolt these together you get two small back stacks that looks like a pair of vents. Put these on two pieces of aluminium and you've got yourself one very cool-looking frame.
